Condominiums

Located next to the Poké Mart is the Eterna Condominiums. On the first floor, is the Name Rater, who will let you change your Pokémon's nickname, as well as a boy called Norton, who will trade a Chatot for a Buizel. On the second floor a woman who gives away TM67 (Recycle).

Underground House

The Underground House is next to the Pokémon Center, where you can get the Explorer Kit that leads you into the Underground, where you can set up a secret base and find the Evolutionary stones from older games, Fossils, and other stuff here. Note that for your fossils, at this point you are limited to finding one fossil depending on what version you are playing. You can find either the Skull Fossil if you are using Diamond, or a Armor Fossil if you are using Pearl and don't forget to take them to Oreburgh City to revive them. The fossils for the older Generation Pokémon will become available after receiving the National Dex. You will need to get the Explorer Kit to be able move through the game later.

Herb Shop

The Herb Shop is located east of Team Galactic's building, where you can buy healing herbs which lower your Pokémon's friendship. It might be a good idea to buy some Revival Herbs, as they revive your Pokémon.

Rad Rickshaw's Bicycle Shop

The place where you get your new Bicycle is located above the Poké Mart. However, you won't be able to get the Bike right away as the owner has gone to deal with Team Galactic in their building, as they had kidnapped his Clefairy.

After this, go to the Eterna Gym.

Eterna Gym

Talk to Gardenia, the Gym Leader standing by the door, and she'll tell you that you have to take her challenge before battling her, which consists of finding, and battling four Trainers.

The first Trainer is located by the Gym Leader's area (north of start). You can find her in the first branch of trees that is slightly to the left, then moving south a little bit. The second one can be found by making your way down the left-most corridor, to the southwestern area that has a dead-end near the two rocks. The third is hiding behind the three small trees near the entrance to the room. And lastly, the final Trainer, is in the very northeastern-most corner, which is accessible by taking the first right from the entrance all the way to the end. After defeating all four of them, Gardenia will appear in the northern area of the room. Gardenia is a grass-type trainer so if you started with Chimchar this should be an easier gym with Monferno. If not, try and raise a higher-leveled flying or bug-type Pokémon such as Kricketune and Staravia or go east of Eterna to Route 211 to find a Ponyta.

Once you beat Gardenia, you will receive the Forest Badge. This badge will allow for all Pokémon up to Lv 30 to now obey you without question and allow you to use Cut out of battle. You will also get get TM86 (Grass Knot).

Now that you can use Cut it is time to enter the Team Galactic building and help Rad Rickshaw save his Clefairy.

Galactic Eterna Building

Once you use cut to remove the small trees from the front of the Galactic Building. Before entering head to the small tree that is in the upper-right corner of the building and cut it to eventually find TM46 (Thief).

Here you will find four Team Galactic members. While two of them you won't fight you, the two that are right by the stairs will. If you walk between them they will challenge you to a Double Battle or you can talk to them for a single battle. Afterwards you can head to 2F.

On this floor all the Galactic members here are at computers. You can talk to them if you wish. Only the members at the third computer on the top row which directly below stairs to 3rd, and the one at the lower-left corner of the bottom row will challenge you to a battle. These battles are optional and you don't have to face them if you wish. But when you're ready head up the stairs to 3F.

Here you will see three more members but luckily you want have to face the one at the desk while the others you can't avoid and will have to face. Once you defeat both members head to the last floor 4F.

Once you reach this floor you will see the Team Galactic Commander Jupiter along with Rick Radshaw and his stolen Clefairy along with a Buneary. Talk to her and see will see that you have come to rescue the Pokémon and immediately challenges you to a battle. If you have a Geodude make sure it knows Magnitude since her Skuntank is only weak to Ground-type attacks. Also fighting type moves from Machop or Monferno will also help. Otherwise without them the battle will be a little more difficult especially since Skuntank knows SmokeScreen to lower your Pokémon's accuracy.

Once you defeat her, Jupiter doesn't care since she finished analyzing the statue and that Commander Mars had collected enough energy from Valley Windworks. Before leaving she advises you to stay out of their affairs, by pointing out that her boss is researching mythological Pokémon to take over Sinnoh with. After she leaves talk to Rick Radshaw and he says they were after Clefairy because of the myth that Clefairy originated from space, though their logic had confused him.

After Rick leaves, head out of the Galactic Building and head to his Bicycle shop and Rick will award you with the latest Bicycle. Unlike the previous Bikes this one has the ability to switch to fourth gear for faster speed and the ability to climb slopes, or third gear for easier handling and jumping not as far when jumping off dirt mounds which is useful in some cases. This bike is similar to the Acro Bike and Mach Bike from Hoenn where the gears can be changed by pressing "B". Once you are ready head to the south exit towards Route 206.
