Acuity Lakefront
To the Rescue!
On the second visit to Acuity Lakefront, the two Galactic Grunts have moved aside and no longer block the path to Lake Acuity. Hurry ahead to find out what has become of Barry!
Lake Acuity

Lake Acuity is the third of the three lakes of Sinnoh. After the explosion at Lake Valor, a cave appeared here in the middle of the lake. This cave is said to be home Uxie, the "Being of Intelligence".

The Raid on Lake Acuity
When you reach Lake Acuity, you find Barry having just lost to Jupiter. She taunts him, asking if he really thought he could be the one to save the Pokémon of the lake. This is short-lived, however, as she dislikes the cold weather and is anxious to return to the Galactic HQ. She recognizes you as she turns to leave, and states that Team Galactic intends to do something huge for everyone's sake. She warns you to stay out of the group's way, and to stay away from their headquarters in Veilstone City.
After Jupiter leaves, you automatically move to check on Barry. He is distraught over his defeat and having witnessed Uxie's suffering. He promises to get tougher, and exits the area.

The Key to the Kingdom
A single Galactic Grunt can be found outside the Galactic HQ building on the northeast hill. If spoken with, he reveals that because of you, his superiors took away his Clefairy and his partner quit the team to return to his home country. He suspiciously claims to know nothing about any Storage Key and rushes off before you can question him about it. In his haste, he drops an item in front of you, which turns out to be a Storage Key.

Access Denied
The Storage Key doesn't seem to work on the electronic door on the Galactic HQ's first floor, but it must belong somewhere. Leave the building and hurry westward to try the Galactic Warehouse instead.

Examine the rust-covered door to unlock it with the Storage Key, which then snaps off inside the keyhole. Pick up the Dusk Stone beyond the door and take the stairs down to the lower part of the basement.
B2F
At the bottom of the stairs, the path diverges. The northbound hallway leads to a locked door, so instead move eastward and battle a Galactic Grunt. Continue past him and pick up a Zinc in the storage room. Battle a second Grunt to continue and climb the eastern stairs.
B1F
There is a single Grunt on B1F. He has no Pokémon, however, and blames it on the fact that he still doesn't know how the building's warp panels connect. Continue past him and climb the eastern stairs to the Galactic HQ building's ground floor.

1F (Northeast)
The underground hallway leads to the northeast room on the first floor. Defeat the female Grunt and turn the corner to reach a pair of warp panels. Step on the warp to the right first; this leads to the eastern part of the southeast room. Pick up TM49 (Snatch) and warp back to the northeast room. Take the warp on the left this time to continue.
1F (North-Northeast)
Move south and step on the next warp panel to reach the next room.
1F (Northwest)
Climb up the stairs to reach the second floor.
2F (Northwest)
Ignore the Grunt and the stairs to the east for now, and step on the warp panel to the west instead.
2F (North-Northwest)
Head eastward and take the stairs back down to 1F.
1F (North-Northwest)
Move westward past Scientist Fredrick and take the stairs down to the basement level.
Galactic Warehouse
B2F
Go west and pass by the Galactic Grunt to reach TM36 (Sludge Bomb) in a puddle to the south. Continue westward to find a Galactic Key. With this key card, you can unlock the electronic doors to the west to create a shortcut to the warehouse entrance.

In order to claim every item, however, first climb back up the eastern stairs and pass by Scientist Fredrick again. Back in 2F (Northwest), defeat the Grunt and climb up the eastern stairs this time. In 3F (West), defeat the second and third of the three Grunts, then use the Galactic Key to enter the central room and collect TM21 (Frustration). | |
Team Galactic HQ
Raid on the Galactic HQ
It's time to storm Team Galactic's headquarters! Leave the warehouse and enter the HQ building through the western or central doors.
1F (Southwest)
Examine the electronic doors to unlock them with the Galactic Key. Climb up the stairs to 2F.
2F (Central)
Go east and battle the two Grunts in a potential Multi Battle. Continue on to reach the Team Galactic TV Room, where Scientist Darrius can be battled.
There are two warp panels to the east of the TV Room. The northern warp leads to 2F (West), a small storage room with cardboard boxes. The southern warp leads to 2F (Southwest), where another warp leads to 2F (Southeast) and a Max Revive. Afterward, return to the TV Room and step on the warp here.
2F (Northeast)
Furnished with a pair of comfy beds, the second floor's northeast room seems to be a breakroom. Take advantage of the opportunity and rest your Pokémon if necessary, then climb up the nearby stairs to continue.
3F (Northeast)
Go west to fight two more Grunts in another Multi Battle. Continue westward to find three warp panels. Both the eastern and central warps lead to 3F (Southeast); the eastern warp leads to a dead-end while the central one leads to an Elixir. Afterward, backtrack and take the western warp.
3F (West, Interior)
Move east and climb up the stairs to 4F.
4F (Office)
Go east and use the Galactic Key to unlock the door and approach the Team Galactic boss. Cyrus realizes that you must be the Trainer trying to stand up to Team Galactic. He has heard of the trouble that you have caused for his Commanders, and knows that you're here to save Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf. He claims to no longer have any need for them, and does not care to stop you as he says it would save him the trouble of disposing of them. Cyrus is fascinated by you, as you have no connection to the lake guardians but are here to rescue them anyway. He reaffirms his belief that emotions like pity and compassion are "useless", "illogical", and "irrational", and are merely products of the weak human heart. He intends to make you regret listening to these emotions, and draws you into battle.
VS Cyrus

Defeated, Cyrus admits that your power lies in your compassion toward Pokémon. He calls such emotions a waste, mere illusions that fade over time. This is the reason he gives for abandoning all emotion as "useless sentimentality". He recognizes that you will never understand his position, and that you are strong and courageous to come here alone. Since he does not view Pokémon as friends like Trainers do, or even as tools like Team Galactic does, he rewards you with an item that he has no need for: a Master Ball, the highest grade of Poké Ball and one that is guaranteed to catch its target.
To save the Pokémon from the lakes, Cyrus invites you to take the warp panel in the room ahead. He reveals that he will be heading to the peak of Mt. Coronet, where he will bring about "a new beginning for everything". He then leaves to the east. Follow his lead and take the warp in the eastern room to reach another part of 4F.
4F (Hallway)
The second part of the fourth floor consists of a single, dimly-lit hallway lined by large machines filled with green fluid. Neither of the two Scientists here are interested in battling, and instead express regret for their involvement in the team's actions. Proceed down the hallway and pass through the door at the end.
4F (Lab)
Inside the final room, you immediately find Uxie imprisoned within some type of machine; it appears to be suffering, with its eyes tightly shut. Mesprit and Azelf are confined within other machines and seem to be suffering as well. Saturn can be seen standing at the large machine in the center of the room. Speak to him, and he wonders why Cyrus would let a child like you come and go freely. He then draws you into battle in order to get payback for his defeat at Lake Valor.
VS Saturn

Defeated, Saturn tells you to do whatever you want with the three lake guardians, and instructs you to push the red button on the large machine to set them free. Do so, and the three Pokémon escape their confinement and disappear in an instant. Saturn explains that Cyrus crafted a Red Chain from crystals that he took from the three Pokémon; this chain is apparently meant to restrain something on Mt. Coronet. Saturn says that this is all he knows, and disappears in an instant, as well. Backtrack through the hallway and take the warp back to Cyrus' office. Once there, go south and take the green warp panel for a shortcut to the exit.
