By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

You have a similar username with me. Is this a coincedence or is this impersination? Mothim will rule all!-Wildgoose (and Dustox will too!) 01:39, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

This user joined before you did. They can't be impersonating you. --ケンジガール 01:50, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Masatoshitalk 09:22, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

Colo and XD descriptions

Nice to see someone able to get them down. I'll try to get out my Gamecube later this week and help get the descriptions down with you if it helps. :( Frozen Fennec 05:07, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

I won't be able to do much in the near future but I'll do something later... --Wildgoosespeeder 05:18, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

Parallel perspective codes

Incidentially, do you also have the codes for Platinum, HGSS, and BW? I'm thinking of using them to work on maps for these games (BW maps here in particular are crying out for completion and improvement). Thanks in advance and looking forward to your map contributions in future. Cheers, Haxorus 11:39, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

Johto Route 33

Can you please specify the specific reason as to why you feel the GSC image has been improperly cropped? - Kogoro - Talk to me - 07:18, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

No trees at the bottom of the image to show that there is a boundary. Top, left, and right have a boundary of some kind, but not the bottom. --Wildgoosespeeder 07:33, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
That's really not a reason to tag a file as unacceptable, the file accurately displayed the walkable area of Route 33 and that's the whole reason we have such location maps. The bad image template is meant for images that are of an unacceptable quality level (JPG files that should be PNG format, screenshots/maps that are scaled down/up from their proper appearance, and other similar issues.) Anyway, the file has been updated with an additional row of trees at the southern end. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 07:52, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

Image size and placement

When adding an image to an article, please be sure to determine its size and make sure other things on the article, such as templates, won't affect its placement. Thank you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 16:04, 6 April 2022 (UTC)

I take it you are referring to my recent Pokémon Puzzle League pictures and related article edits since you edited shortly after or before this message. I am not entirely sure best practices for floating picture elements here on Bulbapedia. I was considering a <gallery> (like Acro Bike) or custom gallery (like in PC (Stadium)), but I struggle to find "what looks good", even with the preview button. I am just good at getting high quality screenshots, like on MarioWiki. Kanto#In-game and Party#Gallery is kind of a mess from my edits too. I could have prevented having a large gap in Ritchie#In the games by keeping it as short as possible, if not entirely eliminated. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) 16:32, 6 April 2022 (UTC)
