Welcome to Bulbapedia, Wildgoose!

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! ----Pokemaster97 02:18, 13 November 2011 (UTC)

Again, make sure you use the preview button when making edits.--ForceFire 00:30, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Repeating it again, please use the preview button. Masatoshitalk 23:54, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
The preview button is your friend, please use it. Your edits to {{User Computer}} were reverted anyway. So please just make 100% sure that your edits are satisfactory to the required standard. Thank you.--Chalkwriter 14:47, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
Since you keep forgetting about the preview button, we're gonna give you a big, green button so you can't miss it. Masatoshitalk 19:01, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
Make sure you use it, or we'll be forced to block you for a short time. Masatoshitalk 19:03, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

Currently, your signature does not follow the Signature policy. It also creates a wanted template for "User:Wildgoose". Please change the {{}}'s to [[]]'s, or make it {{u|Wildgoose}}. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 23:38, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

Your signature still does not follow the signature policy. The displayed text must reflect your username, as well as there being a link to your userpage or talk page. Please read the policy and change your signature to comply with all the requirements. Thanks. Werdnae (talk) 02:08, 24 December 2011 (UTC)
Your signature still isn't following policy and must be changed. Your signature must visually reflect your username. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 14:04, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
This is your final warning. Your signature still does not comply with the signature policy. The purpose of a signature is to make it easy for users to recognize who is posting the comment; therefore, placing your username in a tooltip only defeats the purpose of the signature. Please change it so that Wildgoose or some similar variant is immediately visable when used. Failure to do so by your next usage of it will result in a short block for signature violation and ignorance of warnings. --SnorlaxMonster 03:31, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

Gotta remove the spites, images are also not allowed in signatures. -- MAGNEDETH 02:03, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Card name pages

Okay, just so you know, pages can't have _'s in their names. _'s are seen as spaces when linking, so it would be completely broken. So there is no way we could move the card pages to titles with _'s in them. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 14:10, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

Notice templates

Notice templates like {{outdated}} and {{incomplete}} need to go at the top of the article, not the bottom. The only exception to this rule is {{stub}}. --SnorlaxMonster 14:57, 2 January 2012 (UTC)

New templates

New templates must have permission at the very least from an admin before being put into use. Also, your "Opinion" template is already covered by {{cleanup}}, and so is not necessary. New templates should be designed to do something that an existing template does not. Werdnae (talk) 02:30, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Movie 14 Dragons

I know you asked that the movie 14 Reshiram and Zekrom articles be merged because of very little information. However, they do have their own identities while serving the same role. We are just waiting for the DVD release, which is either February or April. In other words, it's not that far away considering the movie was only released six weeks ago. While both dragons serve the same functional purpose, it's more of a role than the legendary birds of movie 2 and the legendary beasts of Movie 13 had.--SandmanDP 03:56, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

Falcon Punch

Please don't create pointless redirects like Falcon Punch -> Fire Punch. It's pointless and misleading (they are not the same thing). --SnorlaxMonster 13:39, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

Five question marks

Hi, don't move it back anymore, at least yet. In the past, users have moved this article back and forth between ????? and its current name, the earlier was always reverted, so that gives us an idea of what's the article to refer to at least for now. Since it's a glitch related article, you'd probably like to ask the Project's Leader first to see if it can be moved or not. Thank you. Masatoshitalk 23:06, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

Featured articles

Featured Articles are currently being remodeled and nominations are currently postponed indefinitely. Please do not just randomly nominate articles. Also, please stop doing this. You were already undone once. Don't edit war. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 03:00, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

Foul language

Bulbapedia's policy on foul language is that it is not allowed in the mainspace, and that users should not use it excessively. Trom's use of language is completely fine in that section. If you don't like foul language then that's fine, but it isn't against the rules and you're going to have to just deal with that. Moreover, constantly removing and reverting edits is against the rules, so you have been blocked by Jo the Marten. As for your comment about "five year old" users, that is absurd as a five year old shouldn't be on the internet in the first place (and they very likely aren't). -- MAGNEDETH 03:18, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

The Preview Button

In addition, you could have done it in your userpage until you had enough information about the TCG instead of mainspacing that. Masatoshitalk 19:00, 22 April 2012 (UTC)

TCG article

Your article for "Freeze Bolt and Cold Flare" is completely uncalled for. If you don't have the necessary information to make a coherent page on any subject, then don't bother. -- MAGNEDETH 19:06, 22 April 2012 (UTC)

Multiple accounts

The user Bob56 shared your IP and email address, and has since been blocked. Users are only permitted to have one account on Bulbapedia. If you want to change your username, bring it up with an Editorial board member. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 23:42, 24 April 2012 (UTC)

After further review, you have been issued a week-long block for previous warnings towards making poor edits, and creating a separate account solely for vandalism. Such actions will not be tolerated on Bulbapedia and repeat behavior will result in additional blocks. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 00:04, 25 April 2012 (UTC)

Five Years

One year for the creation of a puppet account, and one year for each of the vandal edits you made under your puppet account. Hopefully when (if) you return in 2017, you will be more sensible about your behavior. -- MAGNEDETH 00:47, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
