Hey there, yea I got the message. Seems interesting, I'll try to spice up my page as well. - unsigned comment from Cipherpol0 (talk • contribs)
DON'T
Don't add anything Gen III-related to Joey's article. Generation III's Joey is a DIFFERENT TRAINER WITH DIFFERENT JAPANESE NAME AND DIFFERENT POKEMON! He's completely unrelated. It may be added to trivia that such trainer exists, but NOTHING MORE! --Maxim 15:09, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

Just so you know
TCG ID please. Also, Template:GB where ever possible instead of OBP. Thanks MaverickNate 19:47, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Thanks
My bad. Thanks for keeping me honest. evkl 04:36, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- Umm...no problem... ht14 04:37, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- Er, doesn't stuff with a stub template automatically get categorized? -- evkl (need to talk?) 22:05, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
I had a bulbpapedia account but I didn't start updating it until now, thanks anyways. Victorysaber 21:39, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
LOL. I Had no idea. Thank you so much. ♥Lapras 19:34, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
TCG origins
Please follow the style when writing origins. Thank you. MaverickNate 19:29, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- Ok... ht14 19:30, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
- Style is somewhat explained here. Read that because I don't have time to explain it to you, maybe later...but not now. MaverickNate 19:32, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

- Don't know if you are still doing this, but [[Pokémon games]]. And don't worry about it, you are doing a good job. And we like it when everything is consistant. MaverickNate 04:13, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah...got confused, that's all... ht14 04:14, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Userspace warnings
Just a heads up, the userspace policy no longer has the four edit limit. So, please do not warn users saying the limit is four, as that is not true. Thanks, - Kogoro | Talk to me - 16:54, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
cards
Not all text in parenthesis is italic. So, make sure you look at the image to wee what is correct and not, but all pages already have everything apprpriate italicized. Your edit here was incorrect. MaverickNate 03:14, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
tidbits of info
Poké-powers and bodies are most likely to be based off of abilities. So, that Sand Damage body did not have the same Japanese name as Sand Tomb, but it did have the same as Sand Stream. MaverickNate 04:19, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Spe>Special
Why are you changing the {Spe|Character} tags to {Special|Character}? They do the same thing. Spe redirects to Special. Its much easier to write. --Blake 22:58, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
- The other one's a redirect. ht14 22:59, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thats what I just said. {Spe|Gold} does the same thing as {Special|Gold} because Template:Spe redirects to Template:Special. So why not use {Spe|Gold} since its shorter and faster?--Blake 23:31, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
- I think it's better to use
{{Special}}
because it's the actual template. But really, all it is is personal preference. ~ overgrownsol 23:33, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

no variants?
Oh boy...If that's true, then I'm royally screwed. Anyways, can you tell me where it says no variants?--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 20:55, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- The thing is that Japanese translation is more accurate now. The actual name is what it means. Flame Kick is different from Blaze Kick. See above. ht14 21:47, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm? When did I approve this. I like the variants. Also, don't remove the shiny origin from Pokémon
pages please. MaverickNate 04:59, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- But you said...never mind...isn't it implied though for
that they're shiny? ht14 05:00, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- I tend to change things all the time. Just go with what I most recently said. And not always. Take a look at Mudkip
. MaverickNate 05:03, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- Then can't we just state those that aren't? ht14 05:03, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
- They should all already be on the pages. It isn't like Pokémon Star are getting created anymore. They can just be left on the pages. Also, it is sometimes hard to tell. When you have many people illustrating, they sometimes get off a little. Its easier just to say it on all. MaverickNate 05:07, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Don't do that
We are going to be updating the card pages very soon, and I would appreciate not having everyone edit each page a ton of times. I was leniant on the levels, but not on this. It will be done when we update the cards soon. Understand? MaverickNate 02:56, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
DO NOT remove the Piplup trivia! We do the same thing for Jessie's Wobbuffet. Why should that be different. It's an important character of the Diamond & Pearl series. --ケンジのガール 02:14, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Question
Thank you, HT, for giving me this information. But could you please go into a little more detail about archiving, such as where I put the user’s comments. Thanks!

- Nothing major, just make sure to change all instances of [[Image:Rarity Rare.png|Rare Holographic]]H to {{rar|Rare Holo}}, please MaverickNate 03:22, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

- It is very important that you only leave one space in between the infobox expansion footer, and the beginning of the text, or else the main article will be misaligned. MaverickNate 03:46, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

- {{PokémoncardInfobox/Expansion... right next to each other.

- Found the keyword...
what do you mean by misalignment though?ht14 04:19, 19 March 2009 (UTC)- Here is where you did it. The start of the article is lower than the infobox because you had two line breaks after the expansion footer. MaverickNate 04:24, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- Problem fixed. I know now. Thanks. ht14 04:26, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- Just leave it in there. Everycard will have it, and I would rather it be there. It isn't causing problems like the other ones were, and it makes it easier when making new articles... MaverickNate 04:34, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

- Got it. ht14 04:47, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- Dual types already taken care of, while we need to deal with the fossil problem. There should be a type2 option field somewhere, check around TTE's userspace for the actual name. Wait off on all thinsg that evolve from fossils now., okay. I'll get it worked out. MaverickNate 04:49, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- I mean the actual picture as shown on the card for the type. What we used to do is make it two pics, but I mean combined. ht14 04:51, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- Never touch the categories, especially not Category:Pokémon cards. MaverickNate 02:18, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- Ok...still add basic for the field, right? As stated before, random inconsistencies...you just said yes, now no...sigh... ht14 02:19, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- As stated before, no spaces between the templates. On Shedinja, the info is lower than the box because you added a space. And I decided that it isn't an inconsistancy. I have the wekness and resistance remoived when there isn't one because on the real cards, they leave it out completely when it doesn't exist. But, when the card is basic, it will still say basic on the card, so it still needs to be put in. MaverickNate 02:26, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

- The reason i said don't edit it, was because I didn't want thousands of edits to the TCG again, because I'm still going to have to go through the cards you do and check them and edit them again. I don't like when people edit the cards. MaverickNate 02:20, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- So you're saying that nobody should touch the TCG cards. Period. ht14 02:23, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
Umm
Did you have permission from 0 Degrees to do what you just did? He's made it pretty clear that he doesn't want to be associated with the Chocolate account. That's why he started a new one instead of asking for a name change. --ケンジのガール 05:32, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
Rising Rivals
We plan on changing all the links on the "Name (TCG)" pages whenever the card is released. This minimizes the amount of edits and work we have to do. MaverickNate 21:08, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Was it you?
I'm not spamming, I'm defending my page. So, HT14, if it is you who keeps messing with my page, seriously, STOP. I'm going to do an FAQ, deal with it! - unsigned comment from Lapras (talk • contribs)

Your Name In Silver
While recording Pokémon Silver, I've captured HtFOURTEEN the Zubat. Check out my channel on Saturday. SharKing Productions 13:36, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- P.S.: I spelled "14" in "word form" because I couldn't use numbers. Stupid limitations!
- Umm...are you sure about the number thing? ht14 20:54, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I was behind a camera, but I looked around, and couldn't find numbers anywhere in the nickname function. I searched uppercase and lowercase, and there's no "Other" like in future games... SharKing Productions 00:46, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
