This conforms to the currently used syntax. The one with the proposed syntax is at User:C.Ezra.M/Template:Moveentry/proposal.

Parameters

1: National Dex number
2: Pokémon's name
3: unused
formimg: Form that gets used to show the correct artwork if the Pokémon has multiple forms (from the big table below)
form: Form that gets displayed under the Pokémon's name if not empty. Links to the appropriate section of List of Pokémon with form differences. Special handling:
- all, allforms: Shows the text All forms, without a link.
- This is not required if formimg corresponds to a regional form descriptor, or a descriptor of some other forms.
type1 and type2: The Pokémon's typing. Both get interpreted as type icons from Pokémon Legends: Arceus and link to the respective pages. The second one will only get interpreted if it's not empty and not equal to type1.
4 and 5: The Pokémon's Egg Groups. Both get interpreted as links like these: Grass, Dragon. The second one will only get interpreted if it's not empty and not equal to 4. If it is equal to No Eggs Discovered, then it's shown as No Eggs Disc..
6-18: Contents of the table cells. If it's yes or no, then it's parsed as a template: {{yes}} or {{no}}. Set the value to -1 to create an empty cell that displays. (Currently supports up to 13 cells, this number may increase in the future due to new core series game releases.)
n6-n18: Any of the numbers prepended by n means "note". It's particularly useful if the corresponding numbered parameter is yes or no.
STAB: ''' if the Pokémon gains STAB from the move, '' if only the Pokémon's evolution or alternate form gains STAB from the move, and unset otherwise.
