Satoshi Tajiri: Pokémon Creator by Lori Mortensen is an unauthorized biography of Satoshi Tajiri. It is part of the Innovators series published by KidHaven Press, which is a series of biographies of people who have impacted the modern world with their inventions and creations.
The book details Tajiri's childhood and teenage life, the formation of the Game Freak magazine and later the company, Tajiri's numerous other video game works, and the development of the original Pokémon Red and Green Versions. It also provides some basic information about the Pokémon franchise and documents Pokémon's rise to international fame as well as some changes between the Japanese and English versions of the game (such as name changes).
This book contains the (unsourced) claim that Tajiri has been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome.
