Pokécology: An Illustrated Guide to Pokémon Ecology (Japanese: ポケモン生態図鑑(せいたいずかん) An Illustrated Guide to Pokémon Ecology, officially An Illustrated Guide to Pokémon Ecology – Pokécology[1]) is a book about the ecology of Pokémon based on their entries in the Pokédex. It was written by Yoshinari Yonehara of The Pokémon Company, and illustrated by Chihiro Kinoshita, both of whom earned their PhDs from the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Tokyo. The Japanese edition is 192 pages long, while the English edition is 208 pages long.

A line of merchandise based on Pokécology was released in Pokémon Centers in Japan on May 30, 2025,[2] in Taiwan on August 16, 2025,[3] and in Singapore on October 3, 2025;[4] and on the Pokémon Store Online in South Korea on June 2, 2026.[5]
