(Japanese: ダルマモード Daruma Mode) is an ability introduced in Generation V. Only one Pokémon can have this ability, that being Hihidaruma, which allows it to change form.

Effect

In battle

When Hihidaruma's HP drops to below half, it will change into its Daruma Mode at the end of the turn. If it loses its ability, or recovers HP to above half while in its Daruma mode, it will change back. This ability only works on Hihidaruma, even if it is copied by Role Play, Befriend, or swapped with Skill Swap.

Outside of battle

Daruma Mode has no effect outside of battle.
