Sophia's Sunflora
Sunkern → Sunflora
Sophia befriended a Sunflora when it was still a Sunkern. It first appeared when Ash, his friends, and Todd spotted a frozen Sunkern. They took it to the Sunflora Lodge, where Sophia nursed it back to health.

Later, when Team Rocket caused havoc with one of their machines, Sunkern used Sunny Day to melt the snow created by the machine. Ash and his friends were sure that the Sunflora would come now, but they still did not. Ash then remembered the Sun Stone he won in the Bug-Catching Contest and used it to evolve Sunkern into a Sunflora. The newly-evolved Sunflora called hundreds of Sunflora over to pose for Sophia and Marcello's 50th anniversary photo.

Sunflora's only known move is Sunny Day.

The couple's 50th anniversary was threatened because of the cold weather in the area. However, a Sunflora, which Ash just evolved, called hundreds of other Sunflora, allowing Sophia and Marcello to take the photo.

None of the Sunflora's moves are known.
