Skill Link (Japanese: スキルリンク Skill Link) is an Ability introduced in Generation IV. Six Pokémon have this Ability. Prior to Generation V, it was the signature ability of Shellder and Cloyster.
Effect
In battle
Skill Link causes multi-hit moves to always strike their maximum number of times. See multi-hit moves for a full list of multi-hit moves. This Ability does not affect moves with a fixed number of hits like Double Kick.
