Shell Trap (Japanese: トラップシェル Trap Shell) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature move of Turtonator.
Effect
Shell Trap is a decreased priority move. The user of Shell Trap will set up a trap at the beginning of the turn the move is used, then execute the move Shell Trap at a priority of -3 if the user is hit by a physical move within the same turn.
The move doesn't work if it's hit by an ally, or if the user flinches.
