Quick Guard (Japanese: ファストガード Fast Guard) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation V.

Effect

Quick Guard protects all Pokémon on the user's side of the field from enemy attacks that have increased priority such as Quick Attack or Aqua Jet, but does not block moves that have been given priority through Prankster. Quick Guard does not protect against Feint.

Using Quick Guard, Wide Guard, Detect, Protect, or Endure consecutively decreases the chance of success to 50%. This is an increased priority move, and therefore will always go before attacks during the turn.

Despite Feint being an increased priority move, it lifts the effect of Quick Guard when used on an opponent's team. [1]
