The Lightning type (Japanese: 雷 Lightning) is one of the eleven TCG types. It is represented by the color yellow, and symbolized by an S-shaped lightning bolt.
The Lightning type contains all Electric-type Pokémon found in the main series video games. For example, Raichu, Zapdos and Raikou are all Lightning types in the TCG.
The corresponding Basic Energy card is Lightning Energy.
