The Comet Shard (Japanese: すいせいのかけら Comet Shard) is an item introduced in Generation V.

In the Generation V games, the Comet Shard can be sold to the ore maniac inside the Icirrus City Pokémon Center for $60000.

The Comet Shard serves no practical purpose other than to be sold.

BW B2W2	A shard which fell to the ground when a comet approached. A maniac will buy it for a high price.
XY ORAS SM	A shard that fell to the ground when a comet approached. It can be sold at a high price to shops.
