Chobin is the eager assistant of Dr. Kaminko in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. He has a tendenacy to battle anyone who steps foot on Dr. Kaminko's property, including your character, no matter how many times you visit Kaminko's mansion. Later in the game, Chobin can be seen in Dr. Kaminko's failed invention, the Robo Groudon. Many people believe that Chobin is Dr. Kaminko's son, although this has never been proven, it is highly probable due to his loyalty and similar charicteristics to him.

Pokémon

Chobin's party originally consists of Sunkern and Magikarp, not a threat to even the newest trainer. Later, however, his Sunkern evolves into Sunflora and Magikarp to Gyarados and he gets a Tropius.
