The Eviolite (Japanese: しんかのきせき Evolution Stone) is a type of held item introduced in Generation V. It boosts the Defense and Special Defense of a Pokémon that holds it if the holder is not fully evolved.
In the core series games
Price
Effect
If held by a Pokémon that is not fully evolved, raises its Defense and Special Defense by 50%.
It affects only the regional variants of Farfetch'd, Mr. Mime, Corsola, and Linoone; and only Pikachu, Meowth, and Eevee without the Gigantamax Factor. It does not affect Meltan, Cosplay Pikachu, Pikachu in a cap, or Eternal Flower Floette; however, it does affect Combee and Salandit regardless of gender, and it affects Galarian Slowpoke despite its evolution not being obtainable yet. If Eviolite is held by a Pokémon that Transforms, only the pre-transformation species is checked for being fully evolved, not the species it transforms into.

- Main article: Eviolite (Noble Victories 91)
Eviolite was introduced as a Pokémon Tool card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Black & White Series (the Japanese BW Era) in the Noble Victories expansion. When this Trainer card is attached to a Basic Pokémon, any damage done to this Pokémon by attacks is reduced by 20, after applying Weakness and Resistance.
Trivia
- Eviolite's Japanese name contains a pun; しんかのきせき Shinka no Kiseki can also be taken to mean "Miracle of Evolution".
