(Japanese: ブラッド Brad) is a recurring character in the anime and a member of Team Plasma.

Character

Brad, like the other Team Plasma Grunts, is able to follow orders from Colress.

History

Brad, along with the other grunts, were looking for N and as soon as they found him, started to attack him. However, Ash and his friends did not allow Brad to attack N. Brad decided to battle the group where his Magnezone battled with Cilan's Pansage. During the battle, a clash between Bullet Seed and Magnet Bomb caused an explosion which sent the seeds flying. One of the stray seeds went through Pignite's snout.

In BW119, when Team Rocket hacked into Team Plasma's data, the trio imprisoned Brad, Angie and the grunts while they were running off with the data. However, Brad had Magnezone confuse some nearby Pokémon to break them free.

In BW120, he battled with Cedric Juniper's assistants in which Colress's mind-controlling machine gave Brad the advantage as Cedric Juniper's assistants's Pokémon were now serving Team Plasma.

Magnezone is Brad's main and most reliable Pokémon. He used it while battling against Ash and his friends, who were trying to stop the Grunts from getting to N, Anthea, and Concordia. Magnezone battled against Ash's Pignite and Oshawott, and proved to be quite strong by being able to defeat Pignite despite the double type-disadvantage. Ash then used Pikachu, whose Electric attacks subdued Magnezone's ones, taking it out.

It was used in the next episode to fight Team Rocket. After Brad and Angie were trapped by Team Rocket, Magnezone used Supersonic to confuse nearby Pokémon causing them to attack the machines creating the cage.

Magnezone's known moves are Magnet Bomb, Thunderbolt, Gyro Ball, and Supersonic.

Liepard

Similar to other members of Team Plasma, Brad was shown to have a Liepard. He sent it out along with the other Liepard belonging to the grunts to battle Cedric Juniper's assistants and to block their way.

Liepard's only known move is Hyper Beam.
