Soak (Japanese: みずびたし Waterlog) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation V.
Effect
Soak changes the target's type to Water, the effect lasts until the target switches out. Soak does not affect Pokémon with the ability Multitype.

Trivia
- Azurill is the only non-Water-type Pokémon to learn this move; however, its evolutions are Water-type.
- Pelipper is the only dual-type Pokémon able to learn Soak.
- Soak is the only move that changes the type of a Pokémon other than the user.
- Ghost-type Pokémon can also use the non-ghost version while under the effects of Soak.
