Psywave (Japanese: サイコウェーブ Psychowave) is a mostly accurate Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I that deals a varying amount of damage.
Effect
Psywave causes a random amount of damage. The minimum damage it can do is 1, and the maximum damage it can do is less than 1.5 times the user's level. The game will freeze if a level 1 Pokémon uses the attack in Generation I, though this error was fixed in later generations.
