Oblivious (Japanese: どんかん Thickheaded) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Nineteen Pokémon can have this Ability.
Effect
In battle
Generation III to V
A Pokémon with Oblivious is immune to infatuation and effects that only work on opposite gendered Pokémon; specifically Cute Charm, Attract, Captivate, and the Destiny Knot.
Generation VI
In addition to preventing infatuation, Oblivious now prevents a Pokémon from falling for Taunt.
Outside of battle
Oblivious has no effect outside of battle.
