Competitiveness (Japanese: まけんき Competitive Spirit) is an ability introduced in Generation V. Twelve Pokémon have this ability.

Effect

In battle

Competitiveness raises the user's Attack stat when other stats are lowered, including the Attack stat itself.

Outside of battle

Competitiveness has no effect outside of battle.
