Trivia
- Buneary is, so far, the only Pokémon to learn the move Frustration by leveling up.
Origin
Buneary is based on a rabbit.
Name origin
Its name is a combination of "bunny" and "ear." The "mimi" (ear) in its Japanese name refers to long ears. "Rol" refers to its rolled up ears. Its German name, Haspiror, comes from Hase and Ohr. Its French name, Laporeille, comes from lapin and oreille.
