Challenger's Cave (Japanese: 修行の岩屋 Training Cavern) is a cave located in the western half of the Unova region. A Black Belt appears to guard the entrance of this cave, allowing the player to pass and explore the cave if he/she has defeated the Elite Four and Team Plasma. It can be accessed at Route 9.
Geography
Challenger's Cave appears to be carved out of a slight hill. The cave is very dark, so Flash is required to easily navigate the cave. There is also an underground stream located in Challenger's Cave, so Surf is also required to navigate the lower levels of the cave.
