Frenzy Plant (Japanese: ハードプラント Hard Plant) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation III.
Effect
As of Generation III, Frenzy Plant is the most powerful Grass-type move. It inflicts damage and then forces the user to recharge during the next turn. Unless this attack misses, the user will always have to recharge.
Learnset
By move tutor
Various move tutors will teach Frenzy Plant to the fully evolved Template:Type2 starters if their happiness rating is sufficiently high:
- In Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, an elderly woman on Cape Brink will teach Frenzy Plant to Venusaur only.
- In Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, an elderly man appears on Route 228 in the Battle Zone, and will teach the move to all four fully evolved Template:Type2 starters.
- In HeartGold and SoulSilver, the Move Tutor for Frenzy Plant can be found in the Move Deleter/Move relearner's house in Blackthorn City.
- In Black and White, the Move Tutor that can teach Frenzy Plant appears in a house on Route 13, and will teach it to all five fully evolved Template:Type2 starters.

- Mew, though repeatedly said on the Pokédex to be able to learn any move, is not able to learn Frenzy Plant because it can only be taught to Grass-type starter Pokémon.
- In Pokémon Colosseum, this attack was erroneously named Solid Plant.
- In the in-game descriptions, it says when using frenzy plant, the pokémon slams the opponent with a tree. In the anime, however, the user slams the ground and roots attack the opponent.
