Cynthia's Garchomp (Japanese: シロナのガブリアス Shirona's Gablias) is Cynthia's main battling Pokémon in the anime and games.
In the anime
Cynthia's Garchomp first appeared in Top-Down Training where she was seen battling Lucian's Bronzong. Even though Bronzong was shown to be a powerful Pokémon in the battle against Dawn's Buizel in An Elite Meet and Greet!, the Bronze Bell Pokémon lost to Garchomp.
In the same episode, she battled against Paul. She showed amazing strength by taking down four of Paul's Pokémon without sustaining too much damage, even taking out Paul's Torterra easily.
Garchomp appeared again in Losing Its Lustrous and Double Team Turnover!, where she was used in battling Team Galactic's Pokémon.
Garchomp also briefly appeared in Aiding the Enemy! where she battled against Aaron's Drapion on television.
She also appeared along with Cynthia in a cameo appearance in the beginning of Arceus and the Jewel of Life battling Palmer's Milotic.
She also appeared along with Cynthia in The Battle Finale of Legend!, where she helped put an end to Team Galactic's plans.
Garchomp was shown on TV winning a close battle between Template:E4's Infernape in Memories are Made of Bliss!.

Garchomp in Pokémon Adventures
Garchomp is Cynthia's strongest Pokémon and her main battler. Garchomp is well trained enough that she can battle even without her Trainer giving her commands. She battled Cyrus and his Pokémon in the Celestic ruins but he managed to outsmart her and use her moves against her for his own gain. She was later used against him in the Galactic HQ holding where she fought his Gyarados, despite using her strongest moves, her inexperience with her newest move, Draco Meteor, caused it to be weaker than it should have been and thus was unable to defeat him. After Cyrus escaped, she took Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum to the Spear Pillar for the final battle against Team Galactic.

Trivia
- Like all of Cynthia's Pokémon, Garchomp has a 31 IV in each of its stats in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.
- Although Garchomp has never been shown losing to a single opponent, in Aiding the Enemy! (Japanese version only), the commentator on TV mentioned that Cynthia was using her last Pokémon to defeat Template:E4, meaning Garchomp might have lost during that battle.
- Garchomp drops a level between her rematch in Platinum and her battle in Black and White, suggesting that subsequent challenges of the Elite Four are not canon.
- Iris thinks that Garchomp is cute.
