:::Alright I took a look myself in Gold AND Silver, it is indeed Steel/Glitch in both, not Normal/Rocket whatever. --Missingno909 20:09, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
I agree that ?????00 and ?????FC should receive individual pages, mostly because FC evolves into 00, and they have individual types and move sets.

<s>I think both sides are right: in my opinion, this page should keep existing, but it would just have the basic information about all the types (example: how to get). :New opinion: Yeah, there's no point in keeping this article. If there are multiple pages for pokémon with repeated names (like ゥ, PKMN or invalid ones - "Glitch"), then I don't see how this page is taking so much to be split. They don't have much to do with each others, so it just doesn't make sense. There is a reason for this. (If people want to look at a ceartin form of ????? such as ?????(FF) then all the hex numbers (00), (FC), (FE), and (FF) should be split into 4 different pages. Racerjames200 (talk) 14:00, 2 November 2013 (UTC)

== Differences between Gold and Crystal ==
From my research, this pokemon behaves differently in gold/silver than in crystal. This page needs to be split up between the two versions. <br>
Some things of note: | |||
*In gold, it is always fought as a link battle, all forms.
*In gold, these are always poisoned, and have various amounts of health.
*In gold, all have pokedex entries, except FE. FE crashes the game, with a glitch dimension.
*In gold, 00 will continue to fight after being caught, and then flee. However, when it does so, the game crashes with a glitch dimension. The glitch dimension has a all-white pallet, making it impossible to see.
*In gold, fighting these may make your player sprite grayscale at the start of the battle.
*I haven't tested anything with crystal, but the sprites are different colors.
<br>The page needs to be separated. --Pokechu22 (talk) 19:59, 1 March 2014 (UTC)

- OK, and when you do, put it in a battle to show type effectiveness, to show that it is steel and not normal. --SnorlaxMonster 00:42, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
- Alright I took a look myself in Gold AND Silver, it is indeed Steel/Glitch in both, not Normal/Rocket whatever. I have no idea where that picture came from, and honestly the stats of the glitch Pokemon are right after Celebi's stats. So the RAM cannot affect this because it's reading from hard coded data in the ROM to find what types these Pokemon are. Interestingly, the Crystal Versions have different stats. #252 is a Fire/Normal type, I'll add information on those later. Koolboyman 15:02, 23 August 2010 (UTC)

In my Crystal, FE version has Normal/Normal type, although I don't found any weaknesses. Does anyone could check if in their game it's the same? I want know if it's really or just my game glitched. Marked +-+-+ 19:42, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Bingo! The type that is shown in article, is from Gold/Silver. It looks that FE version has at least one difference in Crystal... Marked +-+-+ 09:43, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm....FE version would need 2 infoboxes as version between Silver (and probably Gold) and Crystal is noticable. Weight, height, species (in Silver it was glitchy while in Crystal it was non-glitchy), types... Marked +-+-+ 10:27, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Something interesting happened.
So I got crystal, and I decided to trade cyndaquil to it from silver, and it came to be a pokedex 000 pokemon, So I got it in a way none of the others were obtainable. - unsigned comment from Piexil (talk • contribs)
- Probably just something to do with a loose/dodgy link cable. --SnorlaxMonster 07:48, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
Separation
I personally think that all forms of ????? should be given their own pages, due to the fact that they are different pokemon. --Missingno909 20:09, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
I agree that ?????00 and ?????FC should receive individual pages, mostly because FC evolves into 00, and they have individual types and move sets. Blendmaster345 01:57, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
Wouldn't that be a tad confusing? The above comment is supported by Wildgoose. 01:09, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
I think both sides are right: in my opinion, this page should keep existing, but it would just have the basic information about all the types (example: how to get). Then, there should be a list with the links to all the pages referring the specific forms. TheOriginalOne 18:25, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
- New opinion: Yeah, there's no point in keeping this article. If there are multiple pages for pokémon with repeated names (like ゥ, PKMN or invalid ones - "Glitch"), then I don't see how this page is taking so much to be split. They don't have much to do with each others, so it just doesn't make sense. TheOriginalOne 15:45, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
There is a reason for this. (If people want to look at a ceartin form of ????? such as ?????(FF) then all the hex numbers (00), (FC), (FE), and (FF) should be split into 4 different pages. Racerjames200 (talk) 14:00, 2 November 2013 (UTC)
- This needs to be double-split, as there are differences between gold and crystal as well. So a split is needed, or else this will become twice as long. --Pokechu22 (talk) 19:59, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
Johto guard glitch
If you trade any Pokémon below ?????(FF),which the game reads as ?????(00) (or ?????(00) itself) to gen.1 it will become 'M (00)/3TrainerPoké $ (or an hybrid when trading a Pokémon below ?????(FF)). Why can't you trade the other ?????/egg to gen.1? EDIT: Add Celebi to that question too.TrainerX493 (talk) 17:01, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
Different moves learned
My ?????FC in pokemon crystal learned different moves than listed here. It even learned a glitch move through leveling up!The glitch move has very strange effects that I wouldn't guess. Also my ?????FC is Fire/Nor6al type. It's different again! So I'm asking: Are differences between those glitch pokemon in pokemon silver/gold and crystal? If you want to see how it looks like and what happens after I used the move check it out at youtube.Name of video: Pokemon crystal ?????FC - unsigned comment from ResearcherJoX (talk • contribs)
Discrepancies Between Databases
The information presented here for ????? (FE)'s stats and TM learnabilities disagree pretty strongly with the information presented on the Glitch City page linked to at the bottom of this one. Is Glitch City no longer operating, or can someone explain these discrepancies? - Xelrog T. Apocalypse (talk) 03:54, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
- I can answer the latter: Glitch City is certainly still operating. OwnageMuch (talk) 21:16, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
Hold item
It isn't displayed here but my ?????FC was holding a TERU-SAMA.But only one ?????FC held it out of few. This glitch researching is pretty intresting! If anyone is having trouble with a glitch let me know.I'll check it. - unsigned comment from ResearcherJoX (talk • contribs)
Differences between Gold and Crystal
From my research, this pokemon behaves differently in gold/silver than in crystal. This page needs to be split up between the two versions.
Some things of note:
- In gold, it is always fought as a link battle, all forms.
- In gold, these are always poisoned, and have various amounts of health.
- In gold, all have pokedex entries, except FE. FE crashes the game, with a glitch dimension.
- In gold, 00 will continue to fight after being caught, and then flee. However, when it does so, the game crashes with a glitch dimension. The glitch dimension has a all-white pallet, making it impossible to see.
- In gold, fighting these may make your player sprite grayscale at the start of the battle.
- I haven't tested anything with crystal, but the sprites are different colors.
The page needs to be separated. --Pokechu22 (talk) 19:59, 1 March 2014 (UTC)
Initiating page split
It's been years since the last message was posted here and nothing's been done, so I'll split the pages myself without a go-ahead (in other words, being bold). This'll be drastic, but don't be alarmed. Romanoff Blitzer (talk) 04:28, 11 February 2017 (UTC)
