The Drilbur Coal Mine (Japanese: モグリュー炭鉱 Mogurew Coal Mine) is an excavation site and dungeon found in Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon that is located on the Water Continent. It is unlocked by completing Foreboding Forest. The mine consists of two paths—the usual path to the right, and a barred path to the left heading deeper into a dungeon.
The player and their partner first go here during the events of Chapter 3 to complete a dare set by their fellow students, Pancham and Shelmet. They demand them to bring back red stones from the mine on the left as proof of their accomplishment. These stones are guarded by a Gabite, who believes them to be thieves and attacks; he attempts to call the Drilbur who operate the mine to assist him, but they flee after saying they aren't good at fighting. After defeating the Gabite, the player and partner decide not to take any of the stones, which are revealed to be gems.
