The White Flute (Japanese: しろいビードロ White Vidro) is a type of item introduced in Generation III. It is one of the flutes.

Generation III to Generation IV
When used in the field, increases wild Pokémon encounter rate by 50%. This effect will last until a map transition takes place.
Generation V to Pokémon X and Y
The White Flute serves no practical purpose other than to be sold.
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire
When used in the field, decreases the level of wild Pokémon by one to four levels. The effect disappears when the player leaves the area.
