The Dragon Scale was added to [[Pokémon GO]] on Feb. 16, 2017.
 
The Dragon Scale is required to evolve certain Pokémon:
*{{p|Seadra}} requires 100 {{p|Horsea}} [[Candy]] and a Dragon Scale to evolve into {{p|Kingdra}}.
 
Level 10 and higher players can obtain the Dragon Scale by searching [[PokéStop]]s. While normally rare, from March 21, 2017 onward the player is always guaranteed to find an Evolution item when obtaining the bonus for searching a PokéStop for the 7th day in a row.
