The Gabite Scale (Japanese: ガバイトのウロコ Gabite Scale) is an item found in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. The player can get as many Gabite Scales as they wish so long as the event to Labyrinth Cave is unlocked. When the player battles Gabite in Labyrinth Cave, he/she will get a Gabite Scale.

In the anime
A Gabite Scale appeared in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time & Darkness, where Gabite gave it to Team Poképals after being defeated in a battle. The Exploration Team then took the Scale to Shinx so that his sick sister could be cured.
