Blissful Bonanza! (Japanese: ハッピーチャレンジ! Happy Challenge!) is a type of Daily Battle event in Pokémon Masters EX. During this event, the player can battle Trainers who use members of the Blissey line to earn Gems and Bliss, Joy and Happy Tickets, which can then be exchanged in the shop for items such as Lucky Cookies and Lucky Scrolls.
General structure
Blissful Bonanza! events feature a battle against three Trainers who each use a Blissey. These Blissey have incredibly low stats, so any player can clear the battle with ease regardless of how long they have been playing the game. On a day in the middle of the event and on the last day of the event, a special battle featuring Trainers who use Chansey, Happiny, and Blissey is available in addition to the normal battle. This special battle gives players even more tickets than the normal battle. Completing any of these battles awards the player with 100 Gems, but each can only be completed once a day. Exactly which days these battles fall on depends on the length of the event; they can last from 7 to 11 days, with 7 days being the most common length. In April 2024, a Blissful Bonanza! event was held which had three special battles instead of two, and these special battles fell on the last three days of the event.
Minor changes have been made to the event over time. Starting from August 2021, Tome Sets and Codex Sets have been added as completion rewards to both battles. Initially, the battle areas were called Challenge Pasio's Trainers: Part 1 and Challenge Pasio's Trainers: Part 2; however, starting from September 2021, they have been renamed to Daily Bliss Battle and Special Bliss Battle, respectively. Starting from October 2022, Blissful Bonanza! has been reclassified as a Daily Battle event.
These Blissful Bonanza! events often run alongside a Training Area Reward Boost Rally, which increases completion and battle rewards earned in the non-limited training area battles, and a Special Rally, which features special event missions that award the player with Gems and other rewards based on the amount of stamina they spent during the rally period. Initially, the Training Area Reward Boost Rally multiplied rewards earned by ×1.5, but starting from January 2024, the Rally multiplies rewards by ×2.
The following table lists all runs of Blissful Bonanza! (excluding the first, which had a significantly different structure and is detailed below). It includes the days that the special battle appeared and what rallies were concurrent with it, if any.

First run
The first Blissful Bonanza! event ran from May 13 to 31, 2020, and it had a significantly different structure than the first. The battle, which was simply called Challenge Pasio's Trainers, could only be completed once per day, but it only gave 10 Gems on completion. In addition, rather than having the battle rewards be completely random, the player was guaranteed to receive a total of 10 tickets each time the battle was completed, which could be any combination of Bliss, Joy, and Happy Tickets. The battle reward on the final day of the event was guaranteed to be 10 Bliss Tickets.
