North Wild Area

Now that you have three Gym Badges, you are ready to cross the bridge at the northern end of North Lake Miloch and venture through the North Wild Area to get to Hammerlocke.

In the North Wild Area, there are more things that can be done that are not available in the South Wild Area, beyond the additional Max Raid Dens and Watt Traders you can find there.

There is a Nursery in Bridge Field to raise and breed your Pokémon, just like the one on Route 5.

Once per day, you can find the Digging Duo in Bridge Field and pay 500 Watts to have one of them dig up items for you. You can have them stop digging at any point after any item is successfully dug up, though they will eventually become tired at a certain point. You can do this for one of them, or both of them. Each Digging Duo brother has a strength; the brother to the left focuses on skill, being able to find rarer items, but tiring out faster. The brother to the right focuses on stamina, finding less rare items, but also having a higher chance for a longer digging streak. If you're lucky and had a good digging streak going with the last brother you spoke to, he might start digging again free of charge if you talk to him again.

In the Dusty Bowl, there is a stone arch. You can evolve Galarian Yamask into Runerigus by walking under this arch after it has taken at least 49 HP damage without fainting.

The following sub-areas of the North Wild Area will be filled with different Pokémon depending on the weather: (Note: This will only cover Pokémon who can be captured at this point. Any Pokémon above level 35 cannot be caught yet, so if you see one of these, run immediately).

Trainers

The Trainer in the Wild Area has returned with a stronger team and can be battled here. She will eventually return after being defeated.

Once you've done everything you want to do in the Wild Area, head toward the entrance to Hammerlocke, which is in the north area of Hammerlocke Hills. It resembles the head of a dragon, with a large stairwell. Just before you enter the city, Bede will show up and gloat about his victory over Hop before heading into Hammerlocke himself. After he leaves, ascend the stairs.
