Route 225

Route 225

Route 225 lies between the Fight Area to the south and the Survival Area to the northeast. The hilly path leads up and down among rocky outcroppings, making for a physically demanding journey.

Survival Area

Survival Area

The Survival Area is located between Route 225 to the west and Route 226 to the east. It is a training place for those who lose in the Battle Tower to hone their skills.

Route 226

Route 226 leads east from the Survival Area to Route 228. It is a precarious path that winds across sheer cliffs at the edge of the sea. A solitary house stands on the tiny island in the bay. Route 227 leads north to Stark Mountain.

Meet the Meister

A multilingual Hiker known as the Meister lives alone in his house on the island in the bay. Speak to him to receive an update to your Pokédex that will allow it to display entries in foreign languages. This function is only available for the Meister's favorite Pokémon species that he has encountered in other countries.

Time for a Trade

After updating your Pokédex, the Meister offers to trade his Magikarp in exchange for a Finneon. His Magikarp's language of origin is German, so performing this trade will record Magikarp's German Pokédex entry.
