Stonjourner (Japanese: イシヘンジン Ishihengin) is a Rock-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII.
It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
Biology
Stonjourner is a tall Pokémon made of rock, resembling Stonehenge. It has a gray, rectangular body with white eyes and mouth, and is adorned with dark gray spots. On top of its body are two, smaller rectangular stones giving it the appearance of a hat. Its arms are made up of three chained, square rocks alternating between gray and dark gray. It has two large, gray legs resembling the standing stones on Turffield, each of which weighs over 400 pounds (200 kg). These legs are brown on the lower half, and have gray crosses. In the TCG, a resting Stonjourner is shown to be able to detach and rotate its legs.
Occasionally, Stonjourner will unleash a burst of speed to perform dynamic feats with its legs. Most of the time, it stands in a field watching the sun's progress, preferring a quiet life. Curiously, once every year on a certain day, groups of Stonjourner gather from all over to form an evenly spaced ring or circle. No one knows the reason why they assemble in this formation, leading to many theories involving the position of the sun, the earth's energy, and other factors.[1] Another curiosity is that the elemental composition of the rocks that form Stonjourner's body were found to match the bedrock of a land far away from its native habitat. Stonjourner primarily makes its home in grasslands.
Stonjourner is the only known Pokémon that can have Power Spot as an Ability.

Trivia
- Stonjourner can be seen as a parallel to Eiscue.
- They are version exclusives of each other: Stonjourner is exclusive to Sword and Scarlet, while Eiscue is exclusive to Shield and Violet.
- They both have signature Abilities: Stonjourner has Power Spot, while Eiscue has Ice Face.
- The version exclusive Gym Leaders of Circhester Gym, GordieSh and MelonySw, use Stonjourner and Eiscue in their respective teams.
- Stonjourner is tied with Caterpie, Weedle, Magikarp, Igglybuff, Carvanha, and Attack Forme Deoxys for the lowest base Special Defense stat of all Pokémon.
Origin
Stonjourner appears to be based on Megalith structures, more specifically a Trilithon or a Dolmen. It may specifically be a direct reference to the Stonehenge monument from the Middle Neolithic of Wiltshire, England. Stonjourner's behavior may reference the relationship between Stonehenge and astronomy, and the fact that there is evidence that this monument used to be visited once every year by a prehistoric culture, either in December or January.
Stonjourner may also be inspired from the inuksuk. The crosses on its legs may be a reference to runes from early Germanic culture, which had a prevalent impact on Britain during its Anglo-Saxon era. Combined with the dirt, they resemble hiking boots.
Name origin
Stonjourner may be a combination of stone and sojourner (a person who resides temporarily in a place).
Ishihengin may be a combination of 石 ishi (stone), Stonehenge, and 変人 henjin (weird or eccentric person).
