A volcano erupted violently and burned Snowpoint City to a fire pool. In front of a blue light, appeared Regigigas. Not only that, Regice, Regirock, and Registeel also appeared to protect the city. Then, Regigigas went to a deep sleep and the Regi trio turned into pillars in Snowpoint Temple. Brandon suggested that the person behind that is aiming for Regigigas. Meanwhile, Team Rocket heard it and decided to capture Regigigas and present it to Givoanni. However, they let go and fell off. Samuel showed Snowpoint Temple on a screen and everybody saw Hunter J. Brandon explained to Mikoto that J was the one who treated Pokémon as tools. Brandon also explained to the gang that they came here to do research on the legend and they hurried there. J's henchmen saw the Battle Pyramid and informed J. Inside the temple, J told her Henchmen not to let them get near. Many Metang and Skarmory attacked the Pyramid. One of the engines was hit and the Pyramid fell to the ground. Brandon, Mikoto and the gang went off with a small airship while Samuel stayed in the Pyramid to repair it. Pikachu uses Thunderbolt at the Skarmory and Piplup uses BubbleBeam at the Metang. They ran in.

Meanwhile, J saw the three pillars. J chose Salamence and commanded it to use Hyper Beam. The ice and rock pillars were soon destroyed. As Salamence was about to destroy the steel pillars, Brandon asked it to stop. Mikoto explained that awakening Regigigas, everything will be in danger. However, Salamence soon destroyed the steel pillar and a crystal ball-like began glowing. Regigigas was still not awakened and J commanded Salamence to use Flamethrower and a triangle bugun glowing. A red light blasted and Regigigas stood in front of Brandon, and the rest. Regigigas begin using Hyper Beam. Just as J was about to turned Regigigas to stone with her bracelet, Regigigas used Hyper Beam at her, J countered it with Dragon Pulse. J retreated. Rocks were about to fell on them, Brandon chose his Regirock, Regice and Registeel. Regirock uses Focus Punch, Regice with Zap Cannon and Registeel with Iron Head and destroys the rocks.

Then, they ran outside the temple. The exit was blocked but Regigigas managed to get out. Regigigas continued to use Hyper Beam. Brandon decided to capture it to calm it down. The Regis used Hyper Beam at Regigigas and Regigigas countered it with its Hyper Beam. Then, the Regis used Focus Punch but Regigigas pinned them down. Then, Registeel and Regirock grabbed hold of Regigigas and Regice used Ice Beam and Regigigas was frozen. J was overlooking them and stated that it would be better to use their power to help her weaken Regigigas. However, Regigigas managed to defrost. Then, Regice used Zap Cannon and Regigigas was paralyze. Registeel used Iron Head and Regigigas fell. Then, Regirock used Stone Edge. Just as Brandon was about to capture Regigigas with a Poké Ball, J's Ariados used string Shot and tied them up. Regigigas' eyes began glowing and the Regis too. All of them attacked J. Mikoto explained that it was the same as the legend. The Regis had become the guardian of Regigigas. J went away.

The Regi trio and its trio master attacked the mountains using Hyper Beam together. Brandon tried to return his Pokémon to its Poké Ball, however, it failed. Then, Regice used Zap Cannon at Brandon but luckily, Brandon dodged it. Dawn explained that it seem the four trios are heading towards the city.

Then, Team Rocket stil had plans to capture Regigigas but Registeel blasted them off using Iron Head. Piplup tried to bite the string while Ash and Pikachu struggled to break free. Then, Brock had an idea. He told Mikoto that he is happy to be with her and he would never let go of the red string that tied them together. Then, Croagunk came out and used Poison Jab at him, breaking the string. Over the speaker, Samuel explained that the Pyramid needed more time to repair. Brandon told him to inform Officer Jenny to protect the city.

Meanwhile, J and her henchmen were ready to recapture Regigigas. Then, the four Regis came. Then, J's airship shot lasers at them and the Regis countered it with Hyper Beam. However, the lasers managed to shoot at them. Then, the airship shot gum at Regigigas.

Trivia

  • Professor Oak's Pokémon lecture: Magneton
  • This is the first time J uses her bracelet to turn a human, rather than a Pokémon, into stone, using it on Brandon.
  • The disclaimer that appears at the beginning of each episode is now displayed on the bottom of the screen rather than the top from this point on.
  • This is the first appearance of J's Ariados since her debut.
  • This episode features four legendary Pokémon (Registeel, Regirock, Regice, and Regigigas), the most of any episode.
    • This is also the first episode to feature an entire legendary group (the Legendary golems), if all episodes prior to the previous episode featuring Brandon are not counted, due to the fact that Regigigas was not known to the public at the time.
