A Breed Stampede! (Japanese: ポケモンと仲良くなる方法!? A Way to Befriend Pokémon!?) is the 106th episode of the Diamond & Pearl series, and the 572nd episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on December 11, 2008 and aired in the United States on May 16, 2009.

Synopsis

Template:Incomplete synopsis Ash and friends stop at a Pokémon Center, Dawn hears on TV that Kenny and Nando have scored the newest Contest victories. Dawn is eager to train Piloswine for a contest. Ash and his Pokémon train to pass the time. Dawn decides to train with them as well. Unfortunately, Piloswine doesn't obey her orders at all which upsets Dawn. Piloswine only shows an interest of eating Poffin. Gliscor also learns Fire Fang and Piloswine learns AncientPower. Piloswine also smells Team Rocket’s food, and eats it. And makes Team Rocket get revenge by creating a poster advertising a "Pokémon Friendship School." While they have the gang's Pokemon trapped, Dawn's Piloswine evolves into Mamoswine. Amd which, Mamoswine blasts out and defeats Team Rocket, and charges towards Ash and friends. Dawn returns it in its Pokéball and settles down. As for Ash, Nurse Joy tells him that Byron has returned and that means Ash’s gym challenge is coming up!

Errors

  • In the Japanese opening, Dawn's Mamoswine was changed back to Piloswine despite it evolving within the episode.

Dub edits

  • In the Japanese version, it showed Piloswine running between the two bars, with the camera moving. In the dub, it only showed it rushing through the first part with the camera staying stationary, then Dawn saying "Well, that's one way to do it..."
