Excited, the trio make their way to a giant square where many of the Pokémon shows are happening, but it is a pair of acrobatic and dancing {{p|Bellossom}} that catches their eye. One of the Bellossom is asked to do a "Bell-oop-de-loop". However, it fails to complete the trick and lands in Ash's arms, knocking him to the ground. The girl commanding the Bellossom rushes over to Ash, asking him if he is alright. He tells her that he is fine and made a lucky catch, before handing Bellossom back to her.

People start to gather around, but Meowth gets stage fright and disappoints the audience. [[Jessie]] is frustrated, she then gives Meowth some jokes to tell and orders him to make the people laugh. Meowth goes and starts telling the jokes, and the crowd is surprised to see a Meowth talking. However, all of the jokes are terrible and the crowd starts booing and leaving. Jessie quickly tells them it's not a free show, but the crowd refuses to pay because they don't see anything funny about Meowth's performance. [[James]] tells them not to leave because Meowth is just warming up. James whispers a joke to Meowth and Meowth tells it. However, Meowth messes it up, and the crowd leaves. Jessie says that she and James could have done better with a dancing routine, but their enthusiasm worries Meowth.

A performer uses his {{p|Alakazam}}'s {{m|Psychic}} attack to knock them off their feet. Jessie and James quickly stand up and make {{TP|Jessie|Arbok}} and {{TP|James|Victreebel}} attack. Bailey uses her two Bellossom and has them dodge the attacks using their dancing moves, which ends up being a successful strategy. The Bellossom then use {{m|Sleep Powder}}, making Team Rocket quickly leave. The crowd like the performance {{pkmn|battle}} and give Bailey a round of applause. Later, Team Rocket eat meatballs in a dark alley and are sad that their schemes have put them into debt. The wind sends a flyer advertising the Florando Exhibition their way, and the trio soon set their sights on stealing all the performing Pokémon.

The crowd mistakes the events for a performance {{pkmn|battle}} and gives Bailey a round of applause. Later, as Team Rocket mopes about their latest defeat, they find a flyer advertising the Florando Exhibition, and the trio decides to steal all of the performing Pokémon.

Bailey says that her dream is to be the best performer ever. Ash wants to know how her Bellossom were able to dodge Team Rocket's attacks. She says that dancing is similar to battling because the movement of the Pokémon's feet. She suggest that Ash and his friends should watch her practice a performance. The next day, Bailey teaches Bellossom's routine to Pikachu so he can use it in battle. After a shaky start, Pikachu proves to be a natural. Bailey then starts practicing her special move, "Bell-oop-de-loop", but again it fails. Bella is disappointed that the move keeps failing, but Bailey says not to worry because they won't do it in the show.

Thanks to Bailey's training, Pikachu is able to dodge Arbok's {{m|Poison Sting}} and Victreebel's {{m|Take Down}} with ease. As the two approach to {{m|Tackle}}, Pikachu jumps up causing Arbok and Victreebel to collide into each other. At James's insistence, Victreebel uses {{m|Wrap}} and grabs Pikachu's feet, and Arbok approaches with {{m|Bite}}. Bailey is able to free Belle and Bella, and tells them to use their special move. Luckily, their move is a success and the Bellossom successfully hit Arbok out the way. Jessie has Arbok return, and Pikachu lands a direct Thunderbolt on Victreebel. Next, Bellossom use their 'Tornado Twister' dance move, which sends Team Rocket blasting off. The other performers are reunited with their Pokémon, and the Florando performances goes on. Bailey has Belle and Bella perform the "Bell-oop-de-Loop" successfully onstage, a sparkling petal finish it met with roars and applauses from the crowd.

Our heroes must help prepare an insecure Bellossom dance troupe for their upcoming exhibition—a chore that's further complicated when Team Rocket attempts to steal the show with their raucous act.
