incomplete plot
As night covers the Cerise Laboratory and everyone else is asleep, Goh's Drizzile emerges from its cave and starts practicing the accuracy of its Water Gun, but with little success, much to its dismay. It briefly spots an Color Change Kecleon sneaking in, but pays no mind to it.
<!-- Detailed Plot goes here. -->

The next morning, Chrysa and Ren interrupt Ash, Goh, and Professor Cerise's peaceful morning by telling them that all the data Ash and Goh collected in Unova has disappeared from their computers. Professor Cerise finds signs of someone having accessed the laboratory's database, leading Goh to suspect that someone possibly deleted the data. To protect the remaining data, Professor Cerise, Chrysa, and Ren change all the passwords on their computer. Unfortunately for them, the invisible Kecleon is still present at the laboratory, and uses a camera placed in its mouth to record the new passwords. The next night, Drizzile stops its Water Gun training to look into the laboratory, where it spots the invisible Kecleon deleting data from the computer before sneaking away.

Ash and Goh wake up to find the laboratory staff in a completely dejected state, as their security has once again been breached, despite the improvements made the day before, now with the result of all the Galar data having been wiped out. This revelation hits Goh hard, as Galar is where he had first met both Goh and Drizzile. Ash encourages the staff to not blame themselves, and they set out to improve the security even further. When Goh goes to retrieve Drizzile's empty food bowl from in front of its cave, he stops to tell it about the situation and how the deleted data held lots of dear memories for him, including his times with Drizzile, and swears to stop whoever's responsible. This inspires Drizzile to redouble the efforts it puts into its training.

Goh patrols the laboratory at nighttime, but fails to spot the intruder. Just when he's about to head to his own room, however, he spots a door being ajar and sneaks towards it, suddenly joined by Drizzile. Just when the invisible Kecleon starts deleting more data, Drizzile hits it with a Water Gun, stopping it and causing it to turn visible. A voice coming from Kecleon mocks Goh for not noticing the culprit sooner, and Kecleon makes its escape, with Goh and Drizzile giving chase and the commotion waking up Ash and Professor Cerise.

Ash and Goh chase Kecleon to the laboratory's rooftop, where Kecleon's Trainer, Gizmo, makes his entrance with a jetpack and reveals himself as the true mastermind behind deleting the Cerise Laboratory's data to make way for his plans of his own laboratory. Drizzile is hit by Kecleon's Sucker Punch before clashing its Bind with Pound, but ultimately ends up being bound and tossed into a wall. As Kecleon prepares to attack Drizzile again, Goh steps in to defend his partner, swearing to protect it. This act reminds Drizzile of all of its memories with Goh, which suddenly end up triggering its evolution, turning it into an Goh and allowing it to stop Kecleon's attack.

With its increased power, Inteleon easily overpowers Kecleon and defeats it. Gizmo grabs Kecleon and decides to make a run for it, but Inteleon uses Snipe Shot to hit his jetpack, before saving him from the resulting fall. This act causes Kecleon to fall in love with Inteleon, much to Gizmo's bewilderment. Ash is angry at him for having deleted the data, while Goh says it's too late now that it's all gone, but wants Gizmo to know the data meant a lot to them. Professor Cerise then enters, having overheard the talk of Gizmo being the culprit. Gizmo is amazed by Professor Cerise's presence and reveals himself to be a big fan of his, much to Ash and Goh's surprise. He reveals that the data isn't really gone, and he had done all of this just to get Professor Cerise to notice him. With Professor Cerise giving Gizmo a much-desired autograph, everything is settled, although Goh notices that Inteleon has disappeared again.

Later, Goh goes through his Rotom Phone at Cerise Park, and is relieved to see all the data restored. Inteleon appears by his side, marking the start of a new kind of relationship between the two of them.

As night covers the Cerise Laboratory and everyone else is asleep, Goh's Drizzile emerges from its cave and starts practicing the accuracy of its Water Gun, but with little success, much to its dismay. It briefly spots an invisible Kecleon sneaking in, but pays no mind to it.

This revelation hits Goh hard, as Galar is where he had first met both Cinderace and Drizzile.

This act reminds Drizzile of all of its memories with Goh, which suddenly end up triggering its evolution, turning it into an Inteleon and allowing it to stop Kecleon's attack.

Trivia

The "After the story" artwork for this episode

Errors

 • When Goh is looking at the list of Pokémon he has caught, his Eternatus doesn't appear on it.

Dub edits

 • In the original version, when Gizmo's Kecleon is infatuated by Goh's Inteleon, Gizmo tells Inteleon to stop because his Kecleon is a "pure lady", thereby confirming her gender. In the English dub, he simply says he won't allow his Kecleon to fall for Goh's Inteleon.
 • Ash reads the title card alone in the dub.
