gJ1 is a Generation I Glitch Pokémon found in Pokémon Yellow only. It occupies hexadecimal slot C9. If traded to Pokémon Red and Blue, it will become an 8. It is Template:Type2 and occupies slot 33 in the National Pokédex, making it a hybrid of Nidorino. It also shares Pokédex entries and sprite with Nidorino.
In a similar manner to 8, a slowed-down version of the bass treble played during some Routes will play after viewing the summary screen of it. In addition, the gJ1 that is sent out by the Glitch Trainer (Youngster) has no nickname and slows down the gameplay and music.
