Full art categories for TCG Pocket cards

Hi there! First off, thanks for your recent TCG Pocket contributions, it's greatly appreciated. I've noticed you've added full-art categories to some card pages; please can I ask you to refrain from adding any more of these for now? Certain categories - such as those based on rarity or full-art status - can be automated and do not need to be manually added to pages. Once we've made a decision on how to proceed with this, we'll start the process so that these are automatically added based on existing page data. Manually adding categories is something we're actively trying to avoid for Pocket cards as it can get quite messy. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know. Thanks! Cipher (talk) 12:46, 25 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

No problem, I understand. I saw that the Full Art category was already made and thought it could be filled up but I do admit it can probably be done automatically later. NaMroz (talk) 12:50, 25 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

User:NaMroz/Hourglass

I moved this to the mainspace. I think it's a good enough start to provide some basic information to the players, and any further work can happen outside of anyone's individual userspace. I hope you understand. Thanks! MaverickNate 06:33, 4 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

No problem! I created that page quickly by the end of my workday to continue expanding it later. NaMroz (talk) 06:54, 4 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thank you

Just want to say i appreciate your work on coverage for both Pokémon Sleep and Pokémon TCG Pocket. Keep up the good work :) anZAsquiddles 2222(:D)SSSS (talk) 09:23, 30 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

No problem! I'm glad I can help the Bulbapedia and Pokémon community. :)
P.S. I don't know if you can do anything about it, but when I receive e-mail notifs about new comments, some links that are in the "<>" brackets are broken because the right bracket is accidentally added to the URL and I have to manually delete it in the browser every single time ^^; 𝐍𝐚𝐌𝐫𝐨𝐳Talk 09:33, 30 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

English VA sources

Hi! I noticed that you recently added a whole bunch of characters' English VAs to Masters character pages without providing any sources. I'm all for giving credit to the people who brought these characters to life, but I don't want to spread misinformation either. So, do you have sources for any of those VA additions (aside from databases like IMDB, which are publicly editable and not necessarily reliable)? Storm Aurora (talk) 03:44, 17 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

I got them from the Dubbing Wikia (https://dubbing.fandom.com/wiki/Pokémon_Masters) 𝐍𝐚𝐌𝐫𝐨𝐳Talk 09:21, 17 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
Taking over for Storm on this, it appears that that page doesn't seem to source their information very well. There are a few direct links in the edit summaries made by the user BananaButter, but the majority of them seem to be unsourced, which unfortunately doesn't meet our requirements for this kind of information. I'll have to revert the edits for now, but I hope we can find a primary source for this information sometime soon. MaverickNate 01:20, 19 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Eevee Heroes sleeves

Hi! The Eevee Heroes sleeves you've uploaded don't seem to match the ones on the official HK/TW website, so I'm wondering how that mix up happened. The ones you uploaded appear to match the image of these Japanese sleeves we have uploaded for the Japanese page, so I'm hoping you can help me get to the bottom of this. Thanks! MaverickNate 01:02, 19 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I searched the Chinese name of the Eevee Heroes (伊布英雄) set and searched for various offer of card sleeves to verify this image. After re-checking right now I see that a lot of vendors did not include in offer title/description that it's from the Japanese set. Weirdly enough, the picture of the Chinese sleeves you've linked is way down in search results. But after re-checking you're right, I uploaded the wrong version. Sorry about that, I will try to be more thorough with my research in the future. 𝐍𝐚𝐌𝐫𝐨𝐳Talk 08:00, 19 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Deluxe Pack ex

I was surprised to see the Dex Missions added before being added to the game officially. Were you able to access the information first hand from the game data? That's a useful skill to have! MaverickNate 22:39, 29 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Staff did happen to notice a typo in the work (550 when it should be 350), and in the past, that kind of quick incorrect data tends to be fansites inserting false info to catch other sites taking their work without credit. So, I'm wanting to make sure all of contributions being added for new game content from all users is coming from primary sources and in line with our policies like the Bulbapedia:Unreleased materials policy. The Pokemon fandom is not very altruistic, unfortunately. MaverickNate 22:52, 29 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
I usually get those by cross-checking various sites, to never rely on a single source. Yesterday I thought it was close enough to the release date that I could start adding this information here already. In hindsight, I could've just left it all in the comment tags so that it wouldn't appear on the page yet.
And honestly, that typo was my mistake, it was quite late when I was working on this article. I even checked with the sites I got this info from, they all correctly stated 350, haha. 𝐍𝐚𝐌𝐫𝐨𝐳Talk 06:18, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
No worries! thanks for being understanding as both the game and our practices are updating in real time! MaverickNate 10:17, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Quick note about TCG Pocket species pages

Hi there! Just a quick one about the TCG Pocket species pages. Because Deluxe Pack: ex has a colon in it, and colons aren't supported in file names, we gotta use a bit of a workaround for set symbols in some places, like on the species pages. For {{TCGPocketCardList/Release}} templates, you can just add symbol=Deluxe Pack ex into the parameter, and it'll show the symbol :) figured I'd let you know as, even though we've encountered the issue in the physical TCG before, it's the first time we've had to deal with it in Pocket, so I'm spreading the word. Cipher (talk) 09:01, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the heads up! 𝐍𝐚𝐌𝐫𝐨𝐳Talk 09:02, 30 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Throwing TCG Pocket lists on TCG pages

Hey, I've noticed you have put a lot of TCG pocket lists on TCG pages. This causes issues like has happened here with the template limit exceeded. In general we have tried to keep TCG and TCG Pocket coverage separate as they are entirely different mediums and otherwise unconnected. While I dont want to diminish the work you have put into to keeping these pages up to date; I think we'd be better off if they are split and use the dabtag (TCG Pocket) for lists that concern the mobile game. 4iamking 14:42, 10 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

No problem! to be fair, I've just filled up the lists someone else started on the TCG pages. Now that I look, Vinnylospo put them there, so if you or any other admin wants to put the TCG Pocket lists elsewhere, make sure to leave their contributions there as well ;)
Oh and regarding the Full Art cards, I still think there might be not enough space on one page if I put all the SWSH Era cards in there, considering the Mega Evolution Era has more and more Full Art cards. Alternatively I can slowly rework the card list to use less templates but it will require more manual info typing? 𝐍𝐚𝐌𝐫𝐨𝐳Talk 14:52, 10 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Honestly I Kinda feel like the full art page has outlived its use; full art cards have become so ubiquitous compared to their introduction in BW. For this the rarity specific pages are in my opinion better suited for keeping track but yeah eventually splitting by series might be a good idea. If you want to take a stab at rework proposals, I'd support it. 4iamking 16:00, 10 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

M-P Promos

Hi there! You may not have noticed this, but set categories are all ordered first in the list of categories on pages and in chronological order. New expansions would slot in right before the group of illustrator categories.

Also, we're in the middle of trying to fix a long-standing issue of how TCG Series are named. The current Japanese Series is named MEGA Series, so make sure you are referencing and linking to this subject appropriately. Thanks! Let me know if you have any questions. Pocket Official Web Store

Hi NaMroz, just a quick heads up: the PTCG Pocket official web store launched with the unique offer you mention in the Shop page on January 13th, not the 27th. There is also a non-offer available only through the website, which is 1.000 Pokégold (+500) at the price of 199,99. Mattallen (talk) 12:05, 27 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! As I mentioned in the comment, I couldn't find the info about the launch date. 𝐍𝐚𝐌𝐫𝐨𝐳Talk 12:21, 27 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Ramos VA in Master

May I know the source for your edit here? --超龍Chao 07:52, 31 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Steve Kramer's Behind the Voice Actors page - I saw that page is cited on his Wikipedia page, so I assumed it's a reliable source. He's also credited on his IMDb page. 𝐍𝐚𝐌𝐫𝐨𝐳Talk 09:15, 31 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
Please note that primary sources are needed for crediting voice actors, such as the voice actor's website and social media or any other official sources (if available) as opposed to third-party websites like IMDb or Behind the Voice Actors. (On the note of Behind the Voice Actors, the website also has a system where green checkmarks indicates they're verified, though a direct source would still be required.) --超龍Chao 01:50, 2 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Event Drafts

Heya, I just want to let you know that it's not necessary to start every event article as a draft, they can be put directly in the mainspace even if not all event details are known yet. The only thing is if the article concerns an upcoming event {{Upcoming notice}} should be added to the top of the page until the event is live. 4iamking 14:30, 12 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I do it more as a precaution. After this warning I decided to keep the event articles as drafts in case there are some wrong/fake info. I guess the only issue is that someone else has to move the drafts to mainspace once the event is live since when I do it, it leaves a redirect. I'd appreciate your input what's the best way to solve this. 𝐍𝐚𝐌𝐫𝐨𝐳Talk 15:09, 12 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
I mean any data we use should be verified through official means this is true whether the event is live or not. Datamined game data is fair game, republications of it should not be used as the primary source since other fansites can have errors and we dont want to propagate those. 4iamking 16:06, 12 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
I missed it in my original response but I also want to say since it's important to mention that unverified data is just as unwanted in the draftspace as the mainspace. If there is any uncertainty, our speculation policy requires the article be worded to reflect it. That doesn't mean things can't change, sometimes TPC does change things later in the game but then we just assess and update the article when that happens. 4iamking 16:14, 12 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Narrative art of Sinistea and Indeedee

Hi, I saw your last edit on Narrative Art (TCGP), and you added a fitting couple of cards. They both originate from retail sets though, but they aren't in the Narrative Art page, so I guess those two artworks could instead be moved there with their original cards' appearance. What do you think? Sorry for the bothering. Croma (talk) 13:44, 24 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Oh, I didn't notice these cards were released in the physical TCG earlier. Sure, they seem to fit well enough! 𝐍𝐚𝐌𝐫𝐨𝐳Talk 14:01, 24 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
