The Preview Button
Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:10, 30 September 2023 (UTC)

How do I edit some articles I don't know how to edit?
Can you please teach me how to put a new content section in any article page, you know, like an Errors section or Spoilers in an article that doesn't have one, one that is not an episode page to be precise, or a names section, or an eye color and a hair color section on a character profile on a character page? - unsigned comment from Magicalgirlkat (talk • contribs)
- Hi! First of all, thanks for being a contributor on Bulbapedia. Happy to have you! Adding sections to articles is pretty simple. Just add
== Section title ==in the spot you want the section to be and put the text for that section below it. If you'd like to make a subsection of an existing section, just add an extra equals signs on each side i.e.=== Subsection title ===, placing the subsection below the section you want it to be part of. If you add another equals sign to each side, you'll make it a subsection of a subsection, and so on.
- If you'd like to try it out, you can use the preview button (next to the Save Page button) to see if it worked before saving changes. Or on mobile, it will automatically generate a preview, and you can press the back button on the top left to go back and make additional adjustments. Once you think you've got it right, just save the changes to publish them to the site. You can also experiment over at the community sandbox in order to test and figure out the code and more complex things such as tables, without needing to edit any actual articles.
- If you need help with anything else related to wikicode or editing, feel free to ask me or another staff member. You can also take a look at this help page, which explains a lot of the common wikicode used in articles. Additionally, the welcome message at the top of your talk page, as well as the welcome portal, has several handy links that may be useful to you. Furthermore, we have a great community on Discord that can quickly walk you through how to edit pages and answer any questions you may have. Again, do ask if you ever need help with anything. We're here to help! Happy editing! Landfish7 08:36, 11 October 2023 (UTC)

Roselia
I checked the scene you mentioned several times. Roselia does not say "Roserade" during the scene, just "Rose". --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 08:39, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
Signing talk page messages
Hi, I noticed your recent talk page messages. Please remember it is talk page policy to sign all talk page messages with your signature by typing 4 tildes in a row like this: ~~~~ , as it will then automatically provide attribution for your message, a timestamp, and a link to your talk page. Thanks!
On an editing-related note, remember that if you see a missing plot section on a topic that you're interested in, you're free to start writing that section too! Thespeon196 (talk) 22:43, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
- I know I can edit myself, but sometimes I just don't know what do say when it comes to page editing and I just don't want to write in a whole plot because it's kind of hard and it sometimes feels weird to do something that big by yourself. [email protected] 22:47, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
- It can be a bit daunting, but even if its just three or four lines of the plot, that can be a great beginning for others to build on in the future. If you ever feel like doing it, go for it!
- P.S. Dont forget to sign every talk page message with the four tildes
~~~~after every talk page message. Thespeon196 (talk) 22:57, 18 July 2025 (UTC)- Thank you for your advice and your reminders, too. [email protected] 23:09, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
- You're welcome, but while we're here, I noticed that your talk page signature doesn't contain a link to your talk page. Would it be possible for you to return your signature to its default setting, so it will contain a link to your talk page. If you try deleting all of your custom signature, I feel that would work. Try it, and then reply here and we'll see if it worked Thespeon196 (talk) 23:20, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your advice and your reminders, too. [email protected] 23:09, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
Could someone please edit these pages and put in these explanations?
Talk page signature
Hi, I really appreciate your efforts to improve your talk page etiquette! However, there's still an issue with your signature. As stated in the signature policy, your signature must include a link to your user page and/or your user talk page, which your current signature does not do. I believe that's also why your talk page comments aren't being recognized by the extension that makes it easier to track and reply to talk page conversations. So, we'd really appreciate it if you'd add a link to your user page and/or your user talk page into your signature. The signature policy page includes instructions for how to edit your signature, so please take a look at that page if you're having trouble! Storm Aurora (talk) 22:27, 23 July 2025 (UTC)
