Scarlet's Armarouge (Japanese: スカーレットのグレンアルマScarlet's Gurenarma) is Scarlet's fifth known Pokémon. She received him from Mela. As of PASV25, he is at level 26 and his Characteristic is that he has a "sturdy body."
History
The Auspicious Armor Charcadet used to evolve
A year prior to Speeding! Paldea's Prince of Speed!!, Armarouge was one of the many Charcadet that lived at Team Star's Schedar Squad's Base. He found Scarlet passed out and rescued her by bringing her to the base. By the time Scarlet had healed and was ready to leave, Mela, Charcadet's current Trainer, had Scarlet take Charcadet with her, as well as an Auspicious Armor so he could evolve.
In Stream! Iono Zone!!, Scarlet used Armarouge as her second choice in her Gym battle against Iono and her Bellibolt. Armarouge used Substitute to avoid taking direct damage and snuck up behind Bellibolt to unleash a close-range Mystical Fire to knock it out. He was recalled, but came back out again to face Mismagius. He attacked with Night Shade, which Mismagius dodged through Phantom Force and defeated him.
In PASV17, Armarouge battled against the Titan PokémonOrthworm. Armarouge was able to land super-effective hits against the Earthworm Pokémon, but was unable to deal any lasting damage due to it escaping underground and recovering. When the group found themselves trapped in a hole, Armarouge provided a fire to get Tarountula's web-based hot air balloon into the air and lift them out of the pit. They then teamed up with Violet and Nemona to take the Titan down and obtained the Salty Herba Mystica.
In PASV21, Scarlet battled against Atticus, one of the bosses of Team Star. She intended to start with Armarouge against Skuntank, but failed due to the psychedelic poison Atticus inflicted her with. After another failed attempt, Armarouge was finally sent out against Muk and defeated the Sludge Pokémon with a single Psybeam. He was then swiftly defeated by Skuntank's Night Slash, as the poison overwhelmed Scarlet to the point where she couldn't focus on the battle anymore.
Personality and characteristics
As a Charcadet, he was shown to be extremely affectionate of Scarlet, as he would hug against her leg and celebrated at the idea of joining her team. After evolving, he gained a more serious attitude similar to his Trainer. He is a powerful battler, able to defeat a Gym Leader's Pokémon in a single attack.
