In The Dream Continues!, Noivern was brought out so Professor Oak could observe it. In his excitement, the Professor began tugging on Noivern's ears before the Sound Wave Pokémon eventually attacked. Noivern was then fed by Alexa and returned to its Poké Ball.
In the following episode, Noivern continued to help Pikachu and Fletchling prepare for their rematch with Viola, training well into the evening.
Personality and characteristics
Noivern's habit of biting others
Noivern is a very loyal Pokémon, but only towards Alexa; if it isn't fed immediately after work or a battle, Noivern will bite anyone in sight. It also enjoys spicy food, with its favorite snack being a Spelon Berry, which is spicy enough to burn the mouths of anyone else who tries to take a bite of it, such as Meowth. Furthermore, Noivern doesn't enjoy when others invade its personal space, attacking Professor Oak when the latter invasively began inspecting its ears.
Despite the fact that Alexa isn't an active battler, Noivern is quite a powerful Pokémon regardless and is Alexa's go-to Pokémon when she requires to battle others. Its knowledge of powerful attacks makes Noivern a valuable Pokémon when Alexa finds herself in a bind, as well as being useful to help train others, such as Ash's Pikachu and Fletchling.
