Because it's standard to use the Pokemon's type for the color of the template. And why should it only be for legendaries? This seems more like a personal preference than something that would improve the template.--ForceFire 19:06, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

Nabil, French name

Ever since Gen I, Pokemon has always named most of its major human characters after some form of vegetation. Since Gen VI, the various translations have made an effort to retain the theme naming. So no, it's not baseless. Second, pronunciation is irrelevant. The point is Hop's name contains some of the letters of the plant he's named after. You're taking it too literally.
