Spicy Spray (Japanese: とびだすハバネロ Habanero Eruption) is an Ability introduced during Generation IX, in Pokémon Champions. It is the signature Ability of Mega Scovillain.

In battle

	This Ability effect may be in need of research. Reason: Will it burn the attacker if Scovillain is hiding behind a Substitute? Can multi-hit moves burn the attacker twice if it has a Lum/Rawst Berry? You can discuss this on the talk page.

When a Pokémon with Spicy Spray is hit by a damaging move, the attacking Pokémon will become burned. This occurs even if the move causes the Pokémon with Spicy Spray to faint.

Trivia

• Prior to its introduction in Pokémon Champions, Spicy Spray was present in the internal data of Pokémon HOME's Version 4.0.0 update, along with Piercing Drill.
  • The file name for its flavor text, home.sp.tokuseiinfo_Champions.TOKUSEIINFO_Champions_311, followed the same naming convention as other Abilities added in this update, namely Dragonize, Mega Sol, and Piercing Drill.
  • However, as Abilities were not given to any new Mega-Evolved Pokémon added in this update, no Pokémon were confirmed to have this Ability until the official release of Pokémon Champions.
