• Y captures an Absol.
• The group comes across an unconscious Scyther that is guarded by a wild Pinsir.
• X attempts to capture the Pinsir, but fails due to a lack of skill in throwing Poké Balls.
• X's group meets Blue and learns that Diantha is safe.
• Blue assists X in capturing the wild Pinsir and reveals the Scyther is unconscious due to its life energy being drained.
• After battling Blue together, X convinces Pinsir to join his team until Scyther recovers from its condition.
• Trevor receives a call from Professor Sycamore, who asks everyone to meet him in Anistar City.
