Team Dim Sun (Japanese: ヤミヤミ団 Team Yamiyami) is the villainous team in Almia in the game Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia.
Information
Led by a man surrounded in mystery, their goal is to awaken Darkrai and suck the world into an alternate dimension. To summon Darkrai, they collect three stones that are shaped like fire, a drop of water, and a moon. When the stones are united near a giant purple stone, known as the Shadow Crystal, Darkrai awakens. They eventually succeed in awakening Darkrai, but their plans are put to a halt by the player. Altru is secretly used to complete their plans. Altru president Blake Hall runs Altru after inheriting it from his father, however he secretly is the leader of Team Dim Sun. They used Isaac to develop the Gigaremo units with him believing he was helping Pokémon in Almia.
While their boss's identity is concealed until the end of the game, their underboss Kincaid maintains a high profile, first as a teacher at the Ranger School, where he secretly recruits students to the team's ranks, and later as a direct commander to lesser-ranked members. Three other members known as the Sinis Trio directly answer to Kincaid.
They hypnotize Pokémon with strange machines called Gigaremo Units. They later use machines called Miniremos. They build a larger scale Gigaremo unit known as the Incredible Machine, which is later discovered to be Altru Tower.
