Tangling Hair (Japanese: カーリーヘアー Curly Hair) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature Ability of Alolan Diglett and Alolan Dugtrio.
Effect
In battle
When a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a move that makes contact, the Speed of the attacking Pokémon is decreased by one stage.
If a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a multi-strike move that makes contact (such as Fury Swipes), each hit activates this Ability.
Outside of battle
It is unknown if Tangling Hair has an effect outside of battle.
