Super Fang (Japanese: いかりのまえば Hatred Fang) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I. It was the signature move of Rattata and Raticate prior to Generation IV.
Effect
Super Fang does damage equal to 50% of the target's current HP. Although Super Fang does normal damage, its type does not alter the amount of damage it inflicts. Super Fang will do 1 damage if the target's current HP is equal to 1.
In Generation I, Super Fang hits Ghost-type Pokémon, even though the type has immunity to Normal-type moves.
